This year marked our 20th annual Oldtime Farming Festival which is always held the third weekend of September. It takes a lot of hard work and commitment from our members and community to successfully pull this festival off. We, as members, put in countless hours in preparation and anticipation of the upcoming festival. We offer FREE ADMISSION, FREE PARKING AND FREE ENTERTAINMENT. To name a few of the activities you can experience here: A town parade kicks off the festival at 10 a.m. on Saturday, complete with a Festival Marshal, an open to the world horticulture show, antique tractors & machinery, crafts, musical entertainment, magician, old-time demonstrations, historical displays, family farm exhibit, old fashioned games & contests with prizes, square dancing tractors (a must see), an old fashioned pie auction on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. (a big hit), and an awards ceremony at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. WHERE ELSE IN CENTRAL OHIO CAN YOU FIND SUCH A DEAL?
We hold the festival in the Community Memorial Park in Centerburg, Ohio which is located just north of town at the intersection of St Rt 314 and US Rts 3/36.
We are a non-profit organization who has committed ourselves to putting on a festival that strives to celebrate and preserve the agricultural heritage of the Centerburg area by recalling and recreating activities common in the lives of our farming predecessors. We also strive to create a safe environment where families can have a fun and affordable entertainment experience. In doing so, we are promoting the Centerburg area by giving our residents a chance to work and play together. This gives non-residents a reason to visit our community.
