The Oldtime Farming Festival would like to express our gratitude to all who participated in and contributed to the success of this year's parade: Director of Heartland of Centerburg, Amy Farley, Admissions Director and employees for their help with registration of parade entries and two of their teen children, all of our 2011 judges, George Blocker, Nina Campbell, Martha Hafler, Sharon Vogelsang and Andy Wharton (very good job), the FCCLA and Advisor Cathy Goeppinger, FFA and Advisor Mr Weade, Deputy Lee Eppic and Bill Watson for traffic control during parade, Phil Lohmeyer, Village Adm for Main St traffic control, the Centerburg High School Band and its Director, Mr Cooper, for insuring the parade, Heart of Ohio Trail, and Wally Thomen, Wilbur Buxton and Ed Moore for pulling the float. Thank you to Fred Wade for being our 2011 Festival Marshal and his wife Kathy. Thank you for allowing the float to be stored on your property for decoration purposes for USA Days parade and Croton and Farming Festival parades. All the Festival members hope the experience was enjoyable for you.
If we have missed anyone who helped in any way, please forgive us and consider yourself thanked. The parade committee encourages all citizens to support the organizations and individuals who have assisted in making this parade so special. We are looking forward to next year. See you there!
